So far for me Michael Phleps' domination in the pool has been incredulous ...
Dream Team basketball ... eh😕 ... I won't watch a single game if I can help it ...
Looking forward to boxing although I don't think anything will top '76 with the U.S. team led by Sugar Ray Leonard, the excitement of watching the Cuban beast known as Teófilo Stevenson was electric ...
The Brazilian women's beach volleyball team ... Dynamic duo!
I ran track in high school, so yeah I'll watch all of track and field ...
I went to the 1996 games in Atlanta, and want to go to Tokyo in 2020 ...

I'm binging on World's Deadliest Catch
Any form of competition in which one can be hailed victorious and showered with praise, medals and endorsements for completing a task 1/100 of a second quicker than the next person seems like an awful big to-do over nothing. Same with Horse Racing, Nascar, DUP anonymous voted comps, etc, you name it - I just don't get the appeal.

Wayne Van Niekirk of South Africa ...
Broke the world record in the men's 400 meters to win gold. He did it for a country who's apartheid system prevented his mother from competing in the Olympics because only whites were allowed to represent the nation. He's driven by his mother's denial, and trained by his 74 year great grand mother!

Every person that had the courage to come under civil war, no country,no way home. The sprint done at the end of the 100meter by Usain Bolt from Jamaica he came from behind to blaze ahead and smile for a picture. That was unforgettable .
