I thought the same, so I will just ask the person above me a question. But first I will answer yours, no I do not think that the abuse of Police power in the U.S. will stop. As long as there are people that think "what is there to gain", or have the mentality that "power" is the motivation, there will always be those in a position of authority that will abuse there title.
What was your influence that made you start writing poetry?

What was your influence that made you start writing poetry?
Build up. Either I start writing the words down and have some catharsis, or they wold be lost to the void forever and I would end up a gibbering idiot. More of a gibbering idiot.

Depression....it's that way for me with music as well....it just turns me numb and lethargic- All inspiration gone.
( My first...let's say scribblings...we're actually borne from deppression....but once I learned to carve a little bit- it no longer worked as muse)
