wow this is a fun question to answer :D
I see lots of slipknot fans YESSSSSS !!!!. I like Staind damn that guys voice.
before i play the guitar i only listened to hip hop, so eminem, dr dre, snoop.
and for a while am in love with dubstep... skrilllex is a mother fucker haha
also generally I will download the full any album of a heavy metal album and look for that slow song mostly i get lucky

Used to be a Slipknot (esp videos) fan back in 2005, but not anymore. Keep dillydallying between rock and heavy-metal. But I also indulge into (guilty pleasures) the popular ones in other genres

I have a hard time, too, with the idea of favorites. Maybe I'm just old enough to realize there can be more than one right answer.
Some people use music to change their mood but i prefer to express is. So I like music that is angry, sad or both, and that can come really from any genre. As long as I can scream to it or choke up trying to sing the lyrics, it's cool with me.
Ha Ain't Heavy, Killing in the Name Of, Starry, Starry Night, and Black are some of my go-to tunes.
