Welcome to DUP, and please keep in mind that this site is for many topics in writing and not an exclusive dumping ground for porn. Any photos and media posted with your porn, will be removed if they are too over the top, show penetration, extreme graphic and/or gruesome images, torture., etc.

Hello my name is, well my screen name is, Demon though some call me Sigil. I don't really care which one you call me. I was just looking up "dark poetry" when I came across the link to this website. I joined in January of this year and I must say I've seen nothing but good things about this site. Everyone I've met so far here has been awesome.

Hi! I'm Jack Jenkins. (Or am I?) I'm a guy who always tries to be kind to people, no matter what. I'm not really a poet, I just write things. I've got a very broken heart and I'm okay with that. I enjoy baseball, history, and nature. I recently came here from Poetfreak, after trolls destroyed the site.  Feel free to message me at any time. I love talking, and I have deep compassion for people. I am also trustworthy, though, nobody on here can verify that, yet. Or if you want to know more about me, that's okay, too. :)

Sometimes I lay awake at night thinking of ways to improve myself, and thus the inevitable question arises ‘what are my weaknesses?’ I have wrestled with this question over the course of my life and when I was younger it was answered on a purely superficial level, in interviews and in the eyes of the public it is always a generic response, but as I stare at the computer screen this evening I can think of only one thing that truly makes me vulnerable… my imagination/creativity.  As a veiled woman I strive to keep things most personal and intimate about myself invisible to those around me, it is not just wearing a scarf and unrevealing clothing it is doing everything within my power to prevent another person (particularly of the opposite gender) from feeling temptation towards me.  The outer elements I have mastered, however, my writing is very intimate, personal, and at times even sexual. Therefore, when I share my writing with someone of the opposite gender I need to strive to be anonymous so that even when I paint an image with my words the reader can use their own imagination; rather than picturing me they can picture their wife and/or husband because much of the time I write from the perspective of the opposite gender as well.
Thus my quandary, I crave for others to read my words and have the moral fortitude to deny the temptation of imagining me when they read; so very few do I consider able to do so.  Even those whom I consider of strong character that I believe possess high moral capabilities how am I to truly know….? And so I have written a metaphorical passage below to prove my point and test you, my reader, to see if you are capable of reading something visually provocative without picturing me.  If you pass this test then I can trust the bond between reader and writer to remain just that and not develop from temptation into obsession, and can reveal the link to some of the most empowering, inspiring, and creative words that I have written without fear of having revealed too much of myself.  This however, is a test of yourself so be honest and truly try to remain indifferent.
My words can be compared to a bead of sweat, forming out of an action or reaction to stimulus and bursting out of my skin like an explosion needing to be free from the constraints of my body.  It begins at my head, as do the words, at first trapped amidst my strands of red wavy hair but with slight movement begins its path down my body.  Reaching the surface above my eyelids it reaches its first obstacle-navigating around the blue-green eyes without dissipating and losing form, admittedly many thoughts have simply surrendered there.  The sultry mix between sky and earth that radiate with intensity when glancing on purpose and with feeling could make even the strongest melt and lose their way.
If worthy the droplet traverses this area with ease and careens itself down my jutting cheekbone traversing along the creamy skin until reaching my jawline and then it’s second obstacle: soft pink lips, the bottom ever so larger than the top, and even that much harder to move beyond. A pause in the way is only natural, even a slight quiver as I release a warm exhale is unavoidable, but if it reaches this point and gets a view of the rolling tongue and pearly white teeth without submission than this bead of sweat only grows stronger and is joined by others to increase its velocity downward, making the next part of the journey less torturous.
It makes its way off the chin and down the exposed long neckline to the collarbone, over the hump it makes its way to the chest above my beating heart.  Following the contours of my body it edges its way to the left losing speed at the top of my cleavage and slowly navigating its way to the space in between, the third obstacle and for many one of the most tempting. White billowing, pulsating heaving, warm large and comforting-beyond difficult for a bead of sweat nevertheless someone who has seen me in real life and has the visual of the contours of my body.  If determined and careful this droplet can inch its way between the steep hurdle and reach the clear valley below.  If not it slowly dissipates into smaller parts, regressing into itself and not evolving to reach its full potential. The droplet like the idea that it represents can either change during this journey to become an advanced drop of water, or it can backslide and retreat into itself never coming to life on paper.
If you find yourself in the latter category I am afraid that you can go no further into my world of reflections and philosophies; if through reading this metaphor you end up here, simply picturing me naked than you are not at fault you simply cannot be autonomous or disconnected from the natural and are, therefore, not ready to read any further. If you however, have come to this point and have read this passage as it was meant to be written-a metaphor for the formation of ideas and a test to judge your level of strength when it comes to desires and impulses then you may possess the inner moral fortitude to plunge into the artistic world of words that I have created.
If you do not know me and I remain anonymous than consider yourself untested and simply a spectator.

Hi, I'm RegularJohn. My actual name is Jack but there's no Queens of the Stone Age songs with Jack in so I guess I'm RegularJohn.

My poems come few and far between,
But I take from what I've seen,
And what I tend to dream,
And mold some stanzas from words I've heard and write them as a theme,
From the subtle to the extreme.

Hey all, my name is Lisa. I'm looking for a place to be semi-anonymous as I'm struggling with addiction & write a lot about it. I suppose I'd rather not let all my friends know how deep my struggles go.  Found this through a google search. Why not try it out... thanks for having me!

Hi all! I'm Vanessa, I joined this site about a week ago at the suggestion of a friend! My poetry is all over the place. I often write about my emotions or life experiences, and my writings can be rather disturbing as such. My specialty is erotica, I've been referred to as "The destroyer of pants." As well as "The Queen of Hearts." Loving the site so far, so many talented poets here!

Mr Gemtlman1980 aka Voice. I'm live in Baltimore, MD but born and raised in Newburgh, NY. I love to write erotic poems and short stories. It is what I do. My friends call me Voice, because of how deep my voice is. Working on doing voice overs. I would love to lend my voice to the authors here. I'm just here to share my passion.
