So where do you guys get your artwork to post to your poetry? I've seen some pretty spectacular artwork in the past, and I'm considering starting to illustrate my own poetry.

I get most photos online but find the greatest satisfaction when I can take my own pictures - mainly for when I write haiku or senryu

I get mine from deviantart.com where I'm a member, but mostly I used the photographs that I submitted to them. Others are from Picasa and Google, which sometimes I manipulate to create what I wanted.

When I don't use pictures from the web but do my own actual art I use Ribbet's Pixlr Editor and Gimp (you find both of them online). You can teach yourself to use them and look up tutorials when you need them. Here's an example of something I created with Pxlr Editor:

It's fun and addictive - good luck!
