History according to the Israeli leader. last week 'fore  he embarked on a trip to Germany

"Hitler didn't want to exterminate the Jews at the time, he wanted to expel the Jew. And Haj Amin al-Husseini went to Hitler and said, 'If you expel them, they'll all come here (to Palestine).' According to Netanyahu, Hitler then asked: "What should I do with them?" and the mufti replied: "Burn them."

kinda makes my point about history being written and re-written.

anything that in any way harkens back to Nazism, is/was seen as "a threat to democracy"  that, and the allies wanted to make sure the embers of their vanquished enemies were stomped out and cold.

My book 'mein rant' came in.
As mentioned in the previous post,
Mein rant is from a british author,
one of the few countries that stood up to
and warned against the nazi rise.
Every other cduntry, including usa,
just tried to accomodate them, even
adjusting hollywood films being produced to
be more palatable to germany, or something like that.

here is one of the poems from mein rant, which
satirizes, criticizes mein kamph.
"
The common populace can stand a
Tremendous lot of propaganda,
Of course provided that the stuff
is imbecile and base enough.

Our propaganda, sad to say,
Was managed in a futile way,
Whereas our foemen were expert
At flinging every kind of dirt.

Our foes excelled themselves, like ganders,
At hissing calumnies and slanders;
Our publicists were things of scorn,
As innocent as babes unborn.

For never, in or out of season,
should propaganda aim at reason,
It should appeal to all thats base
And evil in the human race

For all the lesser tribes and sects
Are feeble in their intellects,
And you can only rouse a nation
By damnable reiteration.
"

Gee, that hints at a lot of recent politics?

I do disagree with every written word the book "Mein Kampf" contains, but still I am interested in reading it, only because I want to know what exactly is written. People are able to read certain things without getting brainwashed and believe every word they read. And there are people out there that are influenced by such things. But they might as well get influenced by movies, music, some dude talking somewhere. It's about the person itself who reads the book, not the book. No one every has to believe anything and therefore I think books shouldn't be banned, burned or destroyed in any way possible.
