How many of you need to apologise or make up with someone before it's too late? Everyone in life is special, treat everyone nice you never know what they are going through. Make a mends people before time is up, for real, think about it. What do you have to lose

My first real poem was an apology for some very bad behavior to a girl I was madly in love with in high school. That was 35 years ago and if I hadn't done it I wouldn't be writing poetry now. Apologizing is good for the soul and is a great inspiration for a poem!

I trashed our friendship with my pen
Can you believe
Renee, Aisumasen?
 
How could I not know
You would be hurt, so shaken
How can I show

What now can I do
To hear you say, “You’re Forgiven”?
I’m such a fool

What else can I do
To make us friends again?
What will we do
To make this loss a gain?
 
What should I have said?
You would not hear my words then

There is a word I have heard
