Nope; we're living in a seemingly arbitrary universe temporarily experiencing the phenomenon of existence. We're here for the short ride until metaphysical transcendence or, less likely if not unreasonable, oblivion, following the death of our fleshy host.

I disagree. Drugs (psychedelics) enhance creativity. If anything, psychoactive plants and fruiting bodies of certain fungi aids one in producing the closest thing to a novel idea. In regards to creativity, there is virtually no such thing as a novel idea as everything is a subsequent creation of a preexisting concept (Philosophy of Art). To deviate the farthest from predisposed creative concepts, drugs have proven to be beneficial.
