Have you ever tried to be there for someone you love- really love and have cared for most of your life
As they kill themselves a little more each day and you can do nothing but keep loving?
And if so..how did you or do you cope?

Yes, My mother, during her fight with Multiple Sclerosis, I watched her, allow it, to genuinely, slowly but surely, take her life,
I coped by just LOVING, as much as I could, and not denying the fact that her passing could come at any time.
Denial of such, would of probably contributed to my loss of health, so, my first rule of thumb was always that, if I didn't stay strong for her, what chance did she have, and thankfully, painful as it was, she hung on in there for 16 years after her diagnosis,

possibly three, I was drained both physically and mentally, and that was down to counting the hours to post my third one. I don’t think I go through that again

Death don't wear boots, just a skelelington in a cloak. Come to think of it Death is a gender neautral given the total lack of any sexual bits or indeed any semblance of life to show something either way. When the time comes I may well take Death by the armvand walk with him/it/her/them/us/cabbages.
