Who Was the real King of Pop.. Judging by music only.. To me it was Prince hands down.. Just my opinion wanna hear yours..

Musically & lyrically I'd say ... Prince!  As an entertainer I'd say Michael Jackson ... I've seen Prince twice in concert - never Michael so there may be some bias there ... Damn why do I feel like listening to the Purple Rain soundtrack now ...

Purple rain is probably tbe best song he wrote and sang.

Michael Jackson was the king of pop, no doubt. but he was a kiddie fiddler so that crown is sullied in my mind.

lepperochan to each his own.. purple rain is a great song.. but prince had better songs.. i'm sorry i just think his work speaks volumes.. no disrespect.. your opinion is welcome here..
