I'm grateful for the alphabet, because it gives me a slick way to tell you that I'm grateful for a way to organize my papers and get that stuff put away so I can find it again once it's put away in the drawer where I keep the hooch.

I am glad my neighbors are quiet. Once in a while a band practices downstairs, but it is muted through the thick walls, and not bad as far as sounds go.

I had a thread like this before, waaaay back when I first joined and I'd get high and happy and list what I was happy about!
Those days are gone now and it turns out I was just miserable and trying to look at he bright side. Now I'm grateful for real happiness. I'm happy to know that of all the classic love stories and poetry on our shelves, we have the greatest of all.
Happy that our daughter is happy and smart and beautiful
That our home is warm, our bellies full and our future bright

And that being married to my best friend assures me I can face whatever is ahead
