If heaven is the home-base of God, and if God is "perfection" in all things, hence heaven must be of that same line of reasoning. If such a world is perfect, then I'd rather live there, than in our imperfect world, where people are raped, murdered, beheaded, sold as slaves, etc., etc. on all the other crimes in existence. But there, too, I consider this world as boot-camp for moving on someday. I guess we'll all find out at some point, the whole story, since we only see in part, right now.

I s'pose this earth thing, could be a training ground to see if you fit the criteria for being an angel, and Catholics probably have a greater chance given the whole 'your sins are washed away' thing at confession. ..shame that. I coulda made a great angel 'cept given the choice I'd rather hang onto the having sex
so... what about the ordinary inhabitants of God's house, I expect everybody's version of perfect is at least a little different so I wonder who's version of perfect the system is based on

A perfect being does not necessarily makes perfect things, one would argue that an imperfect thing is perfect for existence. As existence is not perfect it has benefits of being interesting, and of having change and difference.
Might have been an interesting and great development when Satan fell: gave a reason for God to have humanity have constant vigilance, and a potential playmate in the grand game of eternal chess.

perfect the word is thrown about such that it's lost ( if it ever had any ) any actual integrity
who made up the word in the first place and what did he mean (course it was a he)

I stand by my belief that perfection is flawed hence there is no perfection.
I believe that God/Jesus was a real person, but that is all he was and used the same trick as Dynamo to walk on water, he was merely a magician, which back in those days would have scared the crap out of people. He was an illusionist and a master of the power of suggestion. Angels being a by product of the ever evolving story.
That is my theory anyway... I spat it out because Lep asked me to :P
