I have to admit my pen for this last piece was definitely honed at your dark altar by participating in your competitions ... The hook to the story was the eating of human flesh served from a hibachi.  The story scored the best of my two and literally made the difference in making the finals.

Just got word via email that my category and theme are: Ghost Story set at a gas (petro) station, with a dunce cap as an element in the story (wtf) ...

... okay I have to go hunting ... They'll be lots of blood - entrails and bones bringing this one down ...
