yes it's true, the augmented 4th in music theory is very discordant and is forbidden in compositions. this hardcore rock music has been using it. It truly is disturbing. Never mind the unintelligible lyrics, the chords and the frequencies are debilitating, to listen to that type of monstrosity for days, weeks, months, years, will drive anybody to insanity and suicide. I prefer relaxing calm music, the type you would play as babies nap. I'm cool with that.

Do you have dreams?

Goals?
Expectations?
Unrequited love?

If you answer yes to any of the above,
you also possess suicidal tendencies.

You're not the only one..
exist in a shit slung hut
and you'll die happy.

Don't die today.. Don't die today.. Don't die today..

Some will believe anything and that is the problem.

It is about the mind rather than the mouth (IMO)

but how does these lyrics from Savior by Black Veil Brides make someone suicidal??

"So hear my voice/Remind you not to bleed/I am here/Saviour! Will be there/When you are feeling alone, ohhh/A saviour, for all that you do/So you may live freely without their harm"

No. Highest suicide rate, in the U.S. anyway, is among white guys 45 to 55 years old. They ain't doing it because of some fucking music....

Music doesn't make people suicidal. If someone is suicidal it's due to underlying issues, not what music they listen to. You can't blame the music... well you can, but it doesn't make you sound bright.

I don't think so, I was suicidal before I got into rock music.

Ha. The belligerent grab-life-by-the-balls deny-death-and-rock style of rock/hardcore music obilterates a desire for suicide when I have one and that style pops up. At such a time calming or relaxing music sometimes exaberates the desire to go for me, to relax and let it all go into the beyond.

It may be one reason but it is far, far, far from being the only reason.
Everything in balance: too much of anything is bad regardless.

I love rock music and as someone with depression and have had suicidal ideation,  i believe that music doesnt make you suicidal
Although music can influence moods, actually making someone depressed seems far fetched.
Besidea, i feel that the angrier or agressive a song is, the better i feel. Limp biskitz "break stuff" is my go to song when im angry ir depressed and then i feel a lot better.
So, no...music doesnt make people depressed

People in general have many feelings and I love heavy music, had some hard times but that doesn't make me want to off myself. Its the feelings I had in the first place that make me feel that way. Although I listen it doesn't make me do anything, what I do is get better and stronger and the heavier the music the more energy I have to do so.
