the good ol north american red apple. nice and crispy and tasty but the seeds contain small amounts of cyanide. so consuming sufficiently large amounts leads to nausea, stomach cramps, diarrhea and possibly death.

the good ol north american red apple. nice and crispy and tasty but the seeds contain small amounts of cyanide. so consuming sufficiently large amounts leads to nausea, stomach cramps, diarrhea and possibly death.

The Apples are tasting mighty fine 'round these parts about now, rot.
I'd have to go with a Georgia peach in June...ripe for the picking, tangy and juicy.
And because I like peaches. Here in New England, they've been about the size of softballs lately!

now I want Lychee or Litchi, like citrus fruits, it's an excellent source of vitamin C; 100 g fresh fruits provide 71.5 mg or 119% of daily-recommended value. Lemon, fun, sour yet pleasant in small doses, but not to everyone's taste. When paired with the one right sugar or spice, there's nothing more satisfying.
