Ahh yes, I know how special that moon is, one of the best times for twirling my baton, so to speak (not meant in a sexual innuendo kinda way)

There's a huge misconception to the term 'Imitation is the best form of flattery', the word here is imitation not the actual exact item.

Flattery that's implied actually means 'Inspired by' when we write something or make/create anything whether its poetry, art, jewelry, music that's based on the original item/piece.

We can sit here and debate that it's pointless since none of us is going to become rich and famous but we're all here cause we aint all that and we all know deep down the chances of becoming one is nil. �We do it for numerous personal reasons but the way we react to our work is subjective.
Some people are passionate not just about their poetry but about everything else in their life and when they see something they put their heart and soul in their creativity and someone else is gloating all over the net like they know what the hell they're talking about in writing the poem you want to slice that fucker into ten million pieces.

And, yeah i agree there's so much we can do when something is posted on the net and we all know that what's out there is pretty much finder's keepers but if i find something that's mine i'm going to do my very best to put stops, and i've done it and it's quite fulfilling that i'm proactive in what matters to me, and i dont sit back and whine, if i can make things happen, that's great, if not, then at least i tried.

I'm not judging anyone on how they want to handle their own personal matters, I certainly am not out there hunting plagiarists but if i stumble accidently (as it happened in this posted thread) then i will certainly bring it to attention and it's up to the individual(s) involved to take charge after that point.

Haha! "That site" is a singles website... if that guy thinks he can get laid posting poetry on a dating website, then he's deluded.

Exposing Mr Plasterer would be easy pickings for a poet posing as a gorgeous single with an appetite for poetry... could be a bit of a laugh.

thanks, Vee. When i tried to report it, i was told that because it wasn't exact they wouldn't take down. mine is a poem, his is a story. mine from the female perspective, his from the male. yada yada.

that mr. plaster dude has some of my work as well as a couple pieces that i recognize, but can't remember who wrote them.

LSP, I noticed some haiku in his list, was that yours?

The names that kept coming up were poetspeak, minerva, lilsouthernbell, crowfly, arrow, tommielynn, reks24, museof the fountain, flowergirl....

And, I don't think you need to make a profile (unless you really want to lol..for research purposes that is, for your next short fiction story

I thought about dressing up in drag and sending him some of my old erotica stories and then blasting him as a fraud on each and every poem on his page ...
