I dont understand why we have to obsess over simple things like neatness. Like I don't understand why we have to make our beds when we are going to get right back in it. There are other things that we could and should obsess over. like those creepy sex offenders that live next to you and keep coming on your porch and staring at you when you are not looking.

We make life complicated because we have the liberty and freedom to obsess over rather stupid and pointless stuff. A hard life is a simple life, and an easy life is a complicated life. Without pressing life-or-death concerns there is a tendency to focus on other stuff too intently.

Yeah... about that. Although life is easy without kids, if everyone does that then pretty soon the human race will run out of life. A rather quick solution to all human related problems but rather smacking of simply giving up and thats just the done thing.

Perception is our life, differs from reality. Priorities are our choices, differs from freedom. There are so many daily unscripted interactions, most frivolous, but important can slip by. Then tomorrow, it's all the same, but it seems we have to try. Our freedoms are limited to the system boundaries. We become indentured servants, chasing golden dreams. Did we live better before? I don't know. But now, it seems all we do is manage, schedule, budget, money, time, and activities.
Life is not really that complicated, it all goes down to one's perceptions. You were born, now living and will eventually die, it's simple as that. How you live through that journey depends entirely upon yourself and don't let anybody dictates otherwise. You could choose to live in peace in the rural areas or heck even in the woods free from mortgage payments and other high maintenance bills, or you could choose to live in the chaotic rat race in the corporate world with all the material things money can buy. Whatever makes you happy, it's your choice...you only make life complicated if you think it is. Getting used to the daily grind whatever you do and where ever you are can make life simpler, as long as you think it is!
