introductions

Since I've been an incurable poet most of my life, I've structured my introduction based on a mixed batch of nursery rhyme-type ditties (each one holding a kernel of me within) because, no matter what I'm going through, there's always a sense of play that flows just beneath.  Come play with me:


Tiger, Lady Jade & Bee

1.
I am a little tiger pup
Who's on the prowl in flower bed.
Come watch me as I run and jump
The iris stalk with purple head.

2.
I wish I was a Hershey bar,
I'd eat a piece of me each day.
But wait, that wouldn't take me far,
There has to be another way!

3.
I am a spotted lady bug
Who suns herself on fava bean
Amid the rows of soil dug
For tender summer plantings green.

4.
I love to eat but hardly do,
The same goes for the way I sleep.
I ate a bug without a peep,
The chirping crickets told me to.

5.
Hello, I am a worker bee!
I can't stop now to chat with you,
I seek to pollinate sweet pea,
There's always lots for me to do!

6.
The very thing that runs through me
Is when I'm writing poetry.
I'm light & gay, or dark as sin,
But either way, I hope I win!

Sink or Swim

I am not a lapping wave
ever creeping up your shore

I
am the mother fucking ocean

the place you came from
but can only ever
dive so far back into
without drowning
or being crushed
by the pressure

my tears nourish
the ground
you call home

my fury
the inspiration
for your passion

Poet Biker Slut … Dev in 3rd person

she rode
ruthless
on the backs of Hell
feeling the throttle
of Harley's
vibrating
beneath her biker cunt.

her rolling stone
tongue
flips off
those would be "bad-ass bikers"
trying to ride
their way into the Hell's of Angels.

either one is born
to ride
or one is born
to a 9 to 5?

she was born
to write
bad-ass poetry ~

watch her black leathered ink
kick up the devil~dust
on those long highways
to poetic Hell.
