Write a tribute poem in honor of Prince
After hearing the shocking news that Prince had died, I decided to create a competition in honor of him. So everyone please share your thoughts within your poetry and pay tribute to the Prince of pop.

the world suddenly
being carried away
in his purple storm
and we all wanted

but never his style
he was always true to himself
and the power of purple
he was magnificent,
full of passion
and life
his guitar was part of him
his expressive organ
that could moan, scream, cry and
leave us weeping for more,
we all wanted to drown in his
purple rain,
drive off in that little

be the girl who wore
the raspberry beret,
his lover his friend,
his passing took us all
by surprise,
such a shock to the

how could we go on without
