Oh Kitten!

I love the sanskrit mix within these words..
And as always you make beauty out of things that are not.."normally"

But fuck normal.   (Lol i.said but fuck)

You have captured the theme of this comp perfectly...

You raised one to deity....oh baby i get it...love him with religious fervent adoration. ...and some fear of the hell there i assume...

had i not tried to love you [agape] for fear of my aura
seeping in ruin to whet roots of your temple, i may never
have known
more than weeds bloom in the shade of beings
i once raised to godhood

as it held sodom's apple to my lips, beckoning with
intent.

These are the kinds of words i so respect your poetry for....
They are stunning...but more than that...so valuable in meaning.

I see people throw random beauty's ..that is my phrase...for a few big words together that mean nothing...

You dont do that...i respect it...

Some say about a short piece..
"Love this little piece"  ticks me off when every word in that "little piece" had power...or gave texture...smell..

But you do it so well...the experience you describe is tangible through your words...perfect dollface...

I have been Queen Rambelon...lol

Thanks...so much....love this....

THE MINX AND THE SERPENT

I spied her bathing in the garden of Eden
Alone, she looked so eager to be caught naked
Moist and wanting just a little bit of sin
So, I took my fruit and bounced it off her chin

"Where hath Adam gone?"
Eve asks.
"Oh, my minx, do not fret
He is but entertaining
Fantasies of death."

Eden took my fruit in her hand, admiring
The meat of the matter, enticing, veiny and thick
Holds her in thrall in God's chosen paradise
While I slid my wicked hand upward to her thighs

"Who are you, stranger?"
She asks
"Oh, my minx, do not fret
I am but the temptation
Fantasies of sin."

And with that, Eve took my into her mouth
To chew the flesh and to suckle on the juices
This Eden, picturesque, heavenly and pure
Became a bed of damnation and fornication

And the snake did slide
To vaginal delights
Serpentine 'tween her thighs
Adam failed to reach those peaks
But the devil did just fine

To Hades Rising - tempted to caption the pic rhymingly:

The Devil was a horny guy.
She took him in, under his lie,
As he enticed her with words sly.

Hades Doll...

I love this...and this was what i was really hoping to get...

There are wicked...and true themes throughout scripture...not just biblical...
But even that is a sexually charged thing...

They, Constantines lot...and KJ...removed anything feminine...or the really meaty bits...

Speaking of meaty bits...I am sure Eve would have suckled sweetly..

Or in this day and age...tea bagged on xhamster....

I loved this...thank you darlin..

BLOODLINE

And so, 'tis written here in verse
That while a sojourn, made a trip
To find the knowledge lost about
Thy tribal leader's daughters gone,

As they be lost as Jacob's lambs
As followed by the wan'dring eyes
Of crooked merchants watching close
Who line the temple's darkened walls,

While slowly passing, unaware,
As firstborn of the faith watch from
The blood soaked doorways of their homes,
And distant wails of death begin.

The fate of their virginity
Awaits for not another night
To deem allowed, so go in haste
To seek the desert holy men,

Where on the slopes of burning bush
Shall reap desire and then send forth
The wild and comely women who
Cleave with the wolves from mount afar,

To butcher, after, for the meat
And wear the freshly bloodied fur,
To bay up at a new moon sky
As stars dapple the valley 'neath.

And wild male rams in mating rites
Climbing, agile, with unspent seed,
Would never hesitate to mount
While planting their generations

Within the flexing honey gourds
Of fair nomadic daughters' keep
With ripples of dark flowing hair
Beneath the crown of royalty.

As are their nethers glistening
Beneath a woman's musky beard.
To draw from wanton wells of sin,
Contributing to sibling lips.

All woven barriers cast off,
To drink a fever's potent wine,
And after, keep all blood first spilled
As offerings, dark-stained & sweet.

regardless on how people may take it,  Satan is the father of temptation however he sees fit to employ it.

I agree Frank...and necessary...not all bad and if you see the serpant as Satan or temptation in Genisus...he was a very important player....we taste the fruit because of him....we are removed from paradise....but gain free will and knowledge. A worthwhile trade in my opinion...I most definately see this as parable...But mythology in many many cultures have this serpent as one of the major players or deity...not all see him as evil at all.

Yes...your story got very sexual...but sex was part of it. I loved your piece and thank you for really working in the theme of this comp. Getting down and creative with your brand of midrash.

Jade...

I love this story from Exodus...Jacobs sheep ..a wonderful example of bloodline unspoiled...there was a recent effort to return a hundred or so of Jacobs Sheep to Israel...they remain one of the purest and oldest animal bloodlines...
And Moses was quite literally sheparding his flock...this burning bush that does not consume is shown as God...juxtaposed to a verse in Deuteronomy where it says that this God is a consuming fire..a Jealous God...and at the same time suggesting that his tribe will not succumb in total to Egypts cruelty...
And here with your many euphamism for female body parts...I suspect this burning bush has meaning there as well.....

And then this stunning story you tell of the daughters bearing this burdon by desperate husbandry...wow...there are so many powerful images here....

I read this several times...each time finding a layer of meaning that was new....

All woven barriers cast off,
To drink a fever's potent wine,
And after, keep all blood first spilled
As offerings, dark-stained & sweet.

Oh gosh...this image of naked woman as offerings and offering virgin blood..."stained" and "sweet"
What a gorgeous phrase to represent this act...and again many meanings...that I love.

You really brought why i love scipture so much...whether you are of faith or not...the history and power there whether literal or allegorical tell such an incredible story...with deep roots.
And as Frank..hades was saying...it is not black and white...pure good and bad players...

This is a spectacular piece...you have outdone yourself...Thank you!!

Altar Boy

He likes the way I swallow,
so he says
I’m thirteen,
what the fuck do I know
what swallowing means?
You’re a prick,
you pull out your dick,
I drop down and drown
within the persuasion
of your perversions.

You’re an intrusion
a maniacal illusion
a manchild in waiting
a manchild contemplating
the dirty of your post-pubescent secrets
channeling through
the virgin wonder
of the mouth you created;
they are right,
God has a fucking sense of humor,
and I say,
I just like the taste
of  our Father’s
defiled communion cum wafers

I wrote this piece 4 years ago and I understand this may be pushing the boundaries a bit but I don't give a damn what anyone thinks ~ I'm not a happy catholic, sorry to say.

And please, no response to this as I don't feel like getting into a religious pissing match.  Thank you.

Jennifer, I wound up napping in the recliner, really spent from last night, and once I woke up a few minutes ago, I looked at my iPhone all groggy-like, and I saw you on the forum list, and went in and read your comment, and felt grateful that you, with your dedication, passion and knowledge in theology was able to translate everything, right down to the duel meaning of the burning bush.

I am honored, dear, for the vindication and reception.
