I want to play a game

Hello, Deep Underground, I want to play a game...

We are going to do a little fan fiction here.  I want a Saw-inspired short story.  For those of you who don't know what Saw is, it is a series of horror films about Jigsaw dealing punishment to people with questionable pasts by placing them in elaborate death traps that they must escape to learn a moral lesson and more often than not they fail.

So, I want you to come up with your own scenario with someone unfortunate caught in one of these traps.  Explain why they are there, what the trap is like and do they escape or not. And don't forget some cliche Jigsaw dialog.

Make it violent

Make it visceral

Original traps

Original victims

You have one month

One story

Live or die. Make your choice.

By the way, the movies are currently on Netflix.  If you plan on taking part in this comp, and haven't seen any of them, then I advise checking some of them out to get a general idea. I'm sure Youtube has some footage as well.

Okay ... I'm gonna take a crack at this because I've never seen any of the movies ... Just got a new iPad so I'll be back once I'm done ...

P.S. Just peeped a preview on YouTube ...

When I awoke in a room, I was surrounded by two men dressed in black.
"Guilty!" Is what the judges said, as they pulled a lever and I knew my fate would end.
Fingers pointed, everyone knows of my deed.
"Game on" they said.
Vision cleared, much to be feared tied to a cot there's no escaping.
Ropes pull as they tug to my bone.
Worms crawl up the cot as they feast at my knots of flesh.
A puff of smoke floods the room, oh what kind of tortures await me now?
Their not going to just let me out.
As I see a image of a women with a knife coming forth.
A bright fire floods the room as the knife draws closer.
The walls upon to reveal a long gaping black hole.
And a thousand hands pulled me forth and moved the cot dragging me into the long dark abyss.
As the knife plucks itself into and out of my skin.
As I see her smoking purple hand, drenched in my blood.
And blood followed every stroke.
The hands dug into my flesh and pulled out an organ or two.
Maybe still breathing, there goes my kidney.
A long scream evaded my lips as I cried "Dream no more! For I shall murder in sleep!"
Then slowly every white hand retreats as they leave the room.
High pitched screams flood the room.
It was the pitch of many trumpets, the siren of many broken hearts.
" Did you kill my mommy" A child's voice asked.
I was choked by my soul, for the voice belonged to my little girl.
I turned to my right, I saw a button that said "escape".
Press the heart shaped token, for now I was forever broken.
The hand with the dagger slowly stabs my heart.
And I realize the person holding the dagger, was no other than my beloved Beth.
"Welcome to hell dear" she said, as she stared into my eyes with her Skeleton figure.
Mother holding daughter, father holding mother.
What a twisted game they have played.
For here's the penalty from running away from yourself.
           ~ Game over~

The Killer Was A Poet

link to full story here: http://deepundergroundpoetry.com/poems/213445-the-killer-was-a-poet/

excerpt:

I often wonder why on DU poetry site, the worst poets have the most trophies.  And the best poets had the least, or none.  If you have more than 11 trophies, you’re a joke.  There were new members signing up every day.  And new trophies given away.  It was a machine.  Hidden behind a photo could have been a maniac with method.  Those are the worst kinds of maniacs.
Be careful who you meet online.  They could be the Devil in disguise.  But I never paid the Devil no never mind.  He wouldn’t be a writer, or she wouldn’t be a poet.  I mean the Devil don’t have literary talent.  He don’t have an appetite for prose.  But I soon found out I knew very little about the Devil.

I answer a classified ad:  WANTED writers, preferably poets.  PAID WORK.  No experience needed.  Must be willing to work over night.  That was odd, ‘must be willing to work over night.’  The address was an empty used book store near a yoga studio and hip coffee shop.  I don’t drink coffee so I wasn’t hip.  I don’t do yoga so I wasn’t hop.  I ain’t hip hop. I’m gangster rap.  And I’ll beat your ass.

You put out a tough one this time. But I got a storm a brewing and I'm almost ready to cast it's shadow.
