Missy, thank you so much for the runner up and your ever kind words. I was working on a short story that was driving me crazy and writing for your competition allowed me to step away from it and free my mind a bit.

I went "too crazy" a long long time ago ... I finished the story last night around 11 PM ... just before the deadline. There was a 1,000 word limit but I'm a bit over at 1065

, hopefully it doesn't hurt me in scoring.
