The Forsaken Blood Of The Universe

oddly enough, all the lions and eagles were taken
so the last animal that came to me was forsaken
now all the stratospheres tremble with fears
at the awakening of my future prodigy
nocturnal sight staring into the light of black hole philosophy
penetrating platonic solids with microscopic prophecy
it was deemed that what caused the effect held time in line
but no power or force could undo the wrinkle and the crime
the elements were trapped in the dimension of the mind
each opposite complimented the obvious
the guardians of the gateways hid clues and keys in a safe place
those that heard the call gathered their skills for the quest
the rest slept hypnotized by the civility of dream chasing
all the animals of the totem were already taken
the one that came to me was forbidden and forsaken
but the spirit in me has no fear of death or conspiracy
the treacherous tremble at the appearance of my spirit truth
those that oppose my sovereignty will be demolished doomed
whatever the constellation, whenever the demonstration
the keys to the gates of power will be hunted and uncovered
no star will be left untouched, no silhouette left unlearned
double crossing is expected so the cautious are respected
the anthem of truth rings forever true in my blood
the spirit animal is the universe itself, it is love

      Whom God named Tiger

(inspired by William Blake)

wild Tiger, burning
     in the darkest nightmare
son of Sabre, growl of hunger,
     gaze of fear

river ablaze,
     tall grasses shudder
your victim gutted,
     stripped of blood fur

babies tremble
     on the ground
your rage their mother
     has brought down

devour gristle,
     meat, and gall
blood stained maw
     illumined in thrall

the jungle bows
     upon your will
you hunt to live,
     and live to kill

of fiery sun
     and savage shade
beast of Hell
     whom God has made…

IF I WERE A DEER

If I were a deer
I’d be so sleek and so fast
I’d search the world over
For life ever last

If I were a deer
I’d travel the unknown path
Without being in fear
Of Satan’s temptation or wrath

If I were a deer
I’d bound through valleys of green
In places in heaven
No one else has ever seen

If I were a deer
With sure footed deer feet
I’d feast on fresh manna
So tender and sweet

If I were a deer
I’d climb mountains so high
That the tips of my antlers
Would touch the blue sky

If I were a deer
Panting with thirst from the chase
I’d drink from a cool stream
That reflected God’s true face

But I’m not a deer
God’s magnificent creation
I’m just a humble sinner
In need of Christ’s salvation

THE LAKE

I

Alone in the lake,
away from the strangers
is where the waters’ breath would tickle
her ears, filling and emptying as she swam
to escape the winds’ prodding fingers – cold
from travelling constantly.

II

At the far side of the lake,
where the woody skeletons stood jagged
and naked as victims of the water,
she laid her egg in the grass:
it welcomed the unborn infant into
its family like a visiting cousin.

III

The next morning brought rain with it:
a curtain fogging her view of the strangers
approaching over the water
with their weapons,
pushing the lake away so they could move
closer; wings raised in protest, she screamed
at them as they reached her.

IV

The lake offered shelter,
swelling as it drank the rain –
she hid from the strangers beneath it
as they took her egg in their hands
not realizing that it was wet;
none of them heard her cry out
when her unborn infant slipped
from their hands       cracked
and spilled into the lake.

Wild Cat

People are amazed by me,
Watching me as they talk about my form.
Black and orange,
Claws that dig into the ground,
You know I was born to kill.
I love the thrill of hunting someone down.
I am a beast,
I enjoy the attention I get when you're in heat.
Purring against you.
Feel me,
Don't I feel so soft?.
I love to tackle my prey down and make them feel powerless.
I devour them,
Tasting the blood, my meat stained teeth crack their bones.
Lions think they are something special, but I dont need a pack I got my own to worry about.
It's the life of a wild cat.

She calls me Papi

Ssssh ....Crack
Sssssshhhh ....Crack!
Sssssssshhhhh...CRACK!

If this motherfucker cracks that whip on my ear one more time
I'm gonna make him eat it
Then eat him

"Up Leo!"
Ssssh Crack!
"Up I say!"

Yeah yeah I know the routine
You say up
I go up
You say down
I go down

I know something else too
Today is not the day to try that your head in my mouth shit
Otherwise I'll give these hillbillies the show they really paid to see

How in the fuck did I get here anyway?
Which one of those incestuous Greek bastards did I piss off that badly

Zeus? He needs to learn to keep his cock in his pants
Or wear a condom
Mars? He's too busy setting the world on fire just to get a hard on
Hades? The devil himself, spends half the year with his hand up
his niece's skirt

Legend has it twas Venus that damned my kind
Now I'm stuck with this asshole in his two sizes too big ballon pants
and two sizes too small pith helmet
Playing Lord of the Beasts,
The Great African Hunter

Hunter my ass
He tried eBay then Craigslists to get me
And finally found this link

http://bigcatrescue.org/buy-a-big-cat/

I am demonized
And demoralized
Then held as a Demi God

I am lacerated
Then left to languish
Then lionized when men like him need to find some balls

Shows over
Applause
Go home
Fuck you very much folks

Forget that sign,
By all means, Do Feed the Animals

If he really wanted to give me a treat
Then let me eat
That marsh mellowed faced kid
overstuffed with hotdogs and cotton candy
sitting in the third row

I retreat to my cage

Then she walks in
My Rhiann

She doesnt call me by my clown name
I'm her "Papi"
She comes to care for me
Brings me water
Feeds my body as well as my broken soul

Today she has a rose in her hair
My beauty, a  Bronx born boriqua
Runaway to join the circus

Her skin is caramelized like mine
Both robbed of the joy of the sun by those who would tame us
Marginalize us

"Aqua?" Rhiann asks of me
She lets me lap it from her hand
My tongue is rough
But I am gentle with her
She trusts me
Let's me rest the weight of my deflated existence upon her

"Venga aqui Papi"
She wants me to move my head so she can tend my wounds
inflicted by his whip

Aqui Rhiann?
I eagerly move to the rhythms of her request
I let her feel the weight and thunder of my heart as I lie there
I can hear hers too
She is a doe

Venus is pissed off
So we are star crossed

I am both king and slave
Shackled and barred
Only knowing whispers of her love

"Te amo mucho Papi", she coos
I slumber

There's a matinee tomorrow
The show doesn't have to go on
It just does

Forever a solitary hunter
I stalk the glacial barons alone
but why does it have to be so cold
The only life I've ever known

Some company would be delightful
be it penguin, walrus or seal
And when I eat them, hunt again
Ever searching for my next meal

I slide on ice and dive right down
I'll take them under water
then back up top to have my lunch
I revel in the slaughter

My claws are black and very long
No nothing stands a chance
I rip and tear with hungry teeth
The king of all in this vast expanse

My belly full, my muzzle red
I lay down for the night
to dream of tropical beaches
with all free food in sight

To dine on at my leisure is
A whale laid out as a buffet
blubber aplenty on this warm sand
an endless source of fresh entree

But I awake to white and cold
and head out in the storm
to seek my frozen dinners
and to ponder where it's warm

ABSOLUTE MAGIC....incredible write

BOOK OF WORDS, chapter 1, It begins

As the darkness was leading the way, I woke to find myself in a coach driven by ancient SilverWolves who come from the lands of Myth. Those worlds are somewhere far away in the timeless memory of the Unknown.
They are magical creatures whose instincts can remind us of our own animal self sometimes. They are guides of the goddess and signify the mortal need for the herd. The immortal hunger to follow the Moon Mother.

Moon, as their mother, is the womb.
To Her they howl and their howl is one of unfulfilled longing.
When I listen to their haunted voices I hear a wild uncontroled cry for freedom. Their cry is a cry for Life.
A cry for the wild somewhere deep. deeper than any depths.
Deeper than the forest, deeper than the waters.
It is a feast of Fire, a quest for Love...

Moon looks down and smiles. She throws Her pearls in the lake, which the SilverWolves drink from. I can see their reflection in the water. Their magnificence shines from their iced blue eyes as they hold up their heads to pause and look across the horizon.
I see them although I pretend not to as I am so called sleeping.
Then the ceremony begins as the largest of Wolves lays back its head and starts howling. Such a pure and compelling sound, so intense and unique. The Wolf plays its magical internal string instrument, that cries higher, higher...
One by one the other Wolves join in until a symphony is made of sacred sounds.

The Mother Moon speaks.
..."My Greetings, my Silver Ones...
Her voice is dark and slow, it seems to come from the water.
..."What did you bring me?"..She whispers.
The leading Wolf steps up to the the coach where I lay in. With its teeth, the Wolf lowers the thick woolen blanket.
He turns his head to face moon again.

Suddenly, the water is set in motion as Moon speaks again.
..."It is She..." Says Moon..."Earthen my Empress.."
I feel how a gentle hand strokes my face. When I look at the lake
I see Moon reflected. Her face is old and lined. Her hair is white and floats on the water. She has a smile so warm that I feel it land on my cheek like the gentle kiss of a mother.

..."My Crown of Knowledge" She says and a thin rain falls over my face. A few drops stick like honey to my lips.
In Her nightly beauty, Moon stands at the coach. Her eyes are like crystals as she puts back the blanket as she would tuck in a child..."Go, and be a Wisdom Woman..." She says, her hand waves farewell..

When I look at the lake, Her image is wiped out.
Only the blue of the water is there. I see myself reflected.
A child with dark eyes and a layer of lightblond hair.
The SilverWolves howl once more.
Then, the coach is set in motion, moving fast forward.
Over mountains, through many valleys, we go and the journey has begun, to begin...

..."Where are we going?" I ask my sleep. Dream does not come, only Awake. I am shaken by the speed of the coach. I clutch at my blanket. I close my eyes, and count, and count, and count..
..."Where are we going?" I ask the night. Night does not hear.
Night does not catch up with the coach.
It seems to fly above or inbetween light and dark.

..."Where are we going?" I ask myself.
And somewhere, something or someone seems to speak the word..
..."Home..."...."Home, I say to myself.
..."Home..." The voices repeat.
The voices seem to be humming gently. They jump through the air and surround me as the coach stops.

It is the darkest of night now. The SilverWolves have left me.
They are laying in the high grass resting. They are reflecting on what lies ahead. They are present but absent, aware but still.
As I lay awake, I see lights in the firnament of the sky.
I see their colors change. They flicker, they dance...
..."Stars are we..." They say.."On our way, on our way.."
They shine and sparkle. They seem to play trick and treat, fading
and intensifying.
..."Do you know your way?" I ask them.
..."Do you know your way?" They repeat, the words echo in the dark..."I know what I know.." I answer them..."Know..." They reply...."To know..."
..."Why do you repeat everything?" I ask them as they play their game of light for me..."Because we are part of the universe,
the great mirror of reflection..." They answer...
..."Dark is light..." They sing..."Stars are we..."

Thank you darkdreams, and a paw to the black alpha lupus.  And what can we say about Le Fay other than "beauty begets beauty."
