I don't want your sympathy,
Or another pathetic apology.
Drop the false sincerity -
If you were sorry,
You wouldn't have done it...
Again.

I get it - it's my fault, too.
I'm to blame in part, for believing you.
And the worst part is - I always do
Even when we both know I knew
I shouldn't.

Really, it's best for you to go,
But this, of course, you already know -
You've told me, and I've said it wasn't so
More times than I can count...

I will never truly want for you to leave,
But you really must know...
When I beg and say
You have to stay...

... Please don't.

Lonely space traveler
I sunbathed on the surface of mercury.
I windsailed on the sand dunes of mars.
I gazed upon venus and from my memory.
It was the most lovely by far, but that
was until the day I saw you,
from across the universe. I couldn't help
notice how beautiful was your blue,
and that's all it was worth.

and I like to fly far away from here.
across the galaxy to be within your
atmosphere. Whoa, time is just an ocean
that i'll brave to sail.
For a chance to say hello to you.
I bid farewell.

Raindrops are falling on my head
as I rest on a lonely world that lies
between us. But don't think for a second
that I've been mislead. If you look out you'll
see me riding on the back of pegasus, and a
million years i'll still be on my way. So don't
dare try to say it's all a lie, because if you're
willing wait then baby marked this day until
the day you see me streaking through your sky.

and I like to fly far away from here.
across the galaxy to be within your
atmosphere. Whoa, time is just an ocean
that i'll brave to sail.
For a chance to say hello to you.
I bid farewell

Letter to My Child

You ask if I believe in God.
I think He's left us all alone
like sweaty children in a mall,
searching for our mothers.

But one glance
at your tenderly upturned face,
I can only breathe of white angels,
gossamer reunions,
answers to your silver secrets.

A corsage of light
halos your head.
All the sweet bouquets
interred in me long ago
you've made blossom,
turn pink once more.

I watch as you soar delicately
through those gates
of mesh and pearls.
Then I kiss you, whisper,
You are God for me.

Listening to an Irish Lullaby

Sleep, my child, sleep deep
as your mother waits to die
and the music swathes you
in such glowing arms.

You stand at the gilded mouth
of heaven while tenuous voices
descend to torture and impale
my molten core,
my heart like one bleary eye
grown weary of staying open.

I have seen the splintering
vision of rose-veined glass
in a church where I wept
at the incense of his remains.

I have savored the ghostly
helms of gondolas gone
swaying in their inexorable
waters where all my children drowned.

Blackly metallic waves,
pearly and gibbous as silken moons
lulling and caressing the tranquil dead.

And I have learned nothing new
except the ineffable flutter
of your lids softening a rhythm
unto paradise.

She Kept me Warm

When I was a boy, My Mama,
used to put a Jesus cross beneath me,
read a couple of verses to me,
so that it could protect me from the ill and evil,
Now I’m grounded without a point,
I miss Mama, and Silvestre stalon,
I always wanted to grow fast, and go with my life on,
but at fast as it went, my Mom grew up old,
It took me a while to get over the age
my Dad always drinking, and putting our money away,
me trying to get some money’
for people that never wanted.

Im man, chasing my own Aquila’s,
no fear in My eyes, not fillings, I see it,
a lot of hate going through all my veins,
Mom was all ready gone, with her went all my faith.
Now Mama, I have my first son,
you would not like for him to be call like Papa Ramon,
because I know how much you hated dad,
I will never tell him, how Dad used to beat your ass.
I pray every day, but I don’t know what for,
but I do it anyway just incase god knows
I know the destiny is all ready wrote,
and very soon is going to be my turn down.

.......................Thus Is Why My World Must Be

Hollow hand led shallow world your
grave you dug for me.
To keep in sleep.
When deep within your hole I live,
and breath.
Then die again once more each day, I
am.
Must I see, the tearing yes, give in to
pain,
that bore the best, too him, I am your
grave,
lest I forget your life within my sun, it's
blinded eye.
You must be his lifer and you her
padded cell.
I see denial in us all, each living death
can't sell.
If I see enough and how you made me
feel,
each then and now your past you
make again.
Now I can not touch your robe of black,
it's hem I always felt, such was it once
my friend.
While beating others as a child, you
knew I ran away.
Organizing pain of they whom were
like I, now dead.
Even now in death, you know they
have no name.
That white washed house in Florida
knew but pain.

The Truth

The truth shall set you free
but does it really
No solutions
Without damaging
only to expose you
this world is an illusion
covered up in chaos and confusion
with lies you may get ahead
it has speed
but the truth has endurance
in telling the truth
you don't have to remember anything
but if you lie
it gets caught up in a spider web
trapped in its own lie
because who will lie for you
is the same person
that will lie against you
the truth will never lie
the truth fears no question
it fears no one
respect the truth
it acquires taste
because lying
is just the truth waiting to be itself
there's different ways in expressing it
because the truth its a rare thing
its a relief hearing it
the truth hurts
its a corrupted system
to protect the ones closes to you
lies is painless
lies can protect you
the truth can save you
also can kill you
also can see right through you
the truth shall set you free
or does it really?

Embracing Hate

It's been awhile since; I've wrote a story this deep.

Been trying to write a message where everybody can connect.

Deep within my mind; of how I truly feel…Honestly it's kind of difficult when your heart is filled with hate.

Eyes overflowing with anger.  Rage changes your perspective.

Even your soul starts to deteriorate.

Without realizing, you start to bury your own heart deep within the ground, shoveling dirt covering it with lies.

Too afraid to make mistakes; afraid to confront “fear”.

Every decision; every action; I was always second guessing.

Thinking it will never go through, leaning on hate as a crutch, doing everything that's necessary, to survive, and then pretend like nothing ever happened.

What's really holding you back?

People's actions can really change you,

We'd rather not deal or accept hate for “who” hate is… Everything I've said is true

But here in this moment, you have a choice to make – to embrace hate or to bury it deep inside, This will be your “carpe diem”, your chance to survive and achieve greatness in letting go of hate and accept it lovingly

Now let's take this hate and transform it into a positive message

-Jerusalem, O Jerusalem! -

I promise you,
I'll be back again
I'll come again for you some day
I promise you
I've promised you
that I'll comeback for you again

My Golden Lady
Ancient walls surround
this golden city of mine

Scared city,
smooth stones pave the way of the righteous
From all creeds come to holy houses of hope
to find the promise of Gods

I'll come back to you

to the crown of the world
perched atop a mountain
between forests of enlightenment
and badlands of truth

pilgrims guide the light of immortal flames
that burn through pious hearts and holy minds
to consume peaceful hands and gentle lips

She is at the mercy of the flames
yet still she shines bright
for every creed
every ideology
every lump of flesh and bone to see
the beauty held by her
her charm
her spell

I promise you
   the envy of man
I've promised you
   the lust of holy men
I'll come back
   a king of the hill
I'll come back for you
   flames consume all

Golden Lady
Sacred City
Holy whore
A mother to all

We've promise you
We shall always return
more and more
and more
and more
like logs to a fire
more fuel to burn
an eternal ire
consumes all

Woman's thought Process

Is he happy when he says "I want to be with you"?
Is he stupid when telling "I'm falling for you"?
Is he crazy pouring his heart out "Baby I love you"?
Is he thinking straight strapped up ready, standing fighting for you?
Lost his "mind" laying his heart out on your front porch?

Would you forgive a man that crushed your heart?
Mad at the world because you can't forget a horrific memory he gave to you?
Would you offer him "your lover" a second chance?
Describe the man that "ruined" your life?
What is it you want him to do?

How would you described the man that changed your life?
Picked you up telling you "trust me everything will be alright",
Took the time picking up the pieces to fix what he and other people had broke,
Grabbed your hand and brought the best out of you,
From your lowest point took care and nurtured you,

Now what's on your mind when your own thoughts are against you?
Listen to the heart that says "yes"? or the mind that says "no"?
Everything you ever wanted, just going to let it go?
When time gets tough going to pack up and run, never look back?
or embrace it and face the fact?

Was it meant to be for you two to meet?
or lesson to be learned yet later to be taught?
all the questions have been answered,
god understands you've been through a lot
only question unanswered,
What is it that you want?

blue chirps in blue mornings from blue bluebirds in blue trees
blue coffee in blue cups
blue yawns, blue toast
blue suits, blue roads

blue ink on blue papers from a blue boss wearing a blue tie over his blue shirt, giving you that blue smug
blue lunch, blue phones
blue clocks, blue homes

blue beer from blue bottles made with blue hops from blue factories in little blue countrysides
blue tabs, blue cash

blue betray, blue please stay

blue lights and blue sounds from blue cars with blue cops dressed in blue uniforms with shiny blue badges
blue shouts, blue guns

blue scratches on blue backs
blue breath on blue lover's blue neck
blue dogs, blue cats
blue roses, blue fat

blue news of a blue war in a blue country with blue people
blue justice, blue power
blue bodies, blue numbers

blue shouts of blue praise in a blue church and blue synagogue and blue mosque for blue souls
blue souls; not Blue souls

blue they, blue we
blue you, blue me
blue old, blue young
blue life, blue death
blue nothing
blue everything
blue questions with no blue answers
blue closure, blue tears
blue safety, blue fears
blue colors are blue hues but blue people are people that are blue

blue name, blue flame
blue blame, blue shame
blue same
blue game
blue never stop
blue never change

“Fatherless Fathers:  ‘The Epidemic’

Statistical nightmares of the young black male not expected to make it to twenty one,
But the crisis of epic proportions are the young black males without a father…imagine.
Turning to the streets to be their father figure, the streets are their choice,
Mothers raising sons all by their lonesome, can you hear their voice?

Along the way that son has a son which will perpetuate the cycle he’s caught in,
The vicious tumbling continues without an example to follow, the ensuing whirlwind.
Now he’s here to teach this young boy something he never learned himself,
So now the traps he’s fallen into, his son has the potential to fall into himself.

The fathers don’t know the harm their doing because it was done to them so it’s all good,
But if they only knew they’d turn around and come back and do what they should.
Too many little boys looking for the father in you because one day it’ll be the father in them,
Too many men not willing to step up and get down for theirs, those boys are lost all over again.

Many of you know someone who has a father, who is now a father and his son is a father, and all time is lost,
Unfortunately too many generations don’t understand the destruction and cost.
Neglected and torn now because they have to do this on their own,
Struggling to understand how to raise their own son, without that example to be shown.

So where does the responsibility lie when generations are suffering from the same symptoms?
No doctor can cure the ailments of abandonment, the lack of optimism.
The futures are blackened without direction from a fathers touch,
The streets have a louder voice, a tender touch, you’d think as much.

That’s why they’ll always be looking for the father in you,
Because the image in the mirror is solo, so unfortunate and true.
I was part of this statistic, a young man trying to find his way alone,
But my pops did something that made all the difference, he came back and atoned…
