Something’s Cooking

She was in the kitchen
on her haunches
the heat was on
I was on a slow burn
she was kneading dough
with cream in her hand
she looked at me sternly
and said, don’t just stand there
go on, beat that meat

One

I lapse from reality
to the erotic fantasy
held within the
palm of my hand
focusing on immoral fibers
shattering the screen
upon my bloody retinas
I am on a journey
through fields of flesh
entangled in my mind
grotesque statues
erected for my pleasure
behind closed doors
they are one with me
I am one with my hand
erratic thuds
against my body
animalistic movements
surge on the images
that let me feel love
splattering artistic glory
on her encrypted smile
over and over
hour upon hour
day after day
I am locked into
this dance with myself
only to find
I am a prisoner
to my hand
I am in love

This completion brought out the best of DU.  All of the writes were wonderful.  It could easily be published as a compilation.  So forgive my expanded congrats, but everyone is so well deseriving.

Lovecrazy; thanks.  Not only I did I enjoy doing it, but I loved reading the other writes too. (By doing it, I mean writing the poem).

Poetryman; “When all that remains is a lonely sad song
No one is here to hold me and care."
Tell me about it brother.  Good job.

JJJayJr; Such a romantic wet-dream.  Good stuff. (The poem that is).

Tony Pena; Living in Minnesota, I so get the spring metaphor.  Great pen, Pena.

Rabbitquest; your poem is so ‘real life’.  I live in a U shaped brownstone.  During the hot summer, the orgasmic voice of a young lady across the court way can be quite inspiring.  I wrote a little piece about it long ago.  What’s interesting is when she gets busy with herself, you can hear my other neighbors slowly opening their windows to eve’s drop.

Uma; what a beautiful sculpture in words.

Toributts; what a very erotic write.

BurnigDesire; your work read like an opening song to a pagan spring fertility festival.  It gave me visions of naked people dancing around a maypole.  Your image of the woman with the water can was so complimentary.

BrokynSyn; very erotic imagery.  Hope to see more of your work in the future.

Mmsiraj; watching a woman make bread, could there be anything sexier cooking for dinner?

Bofantastic; when bread isn’t available biscuits will do.

Brainsandwich; accurate portrayal of a young man’s burning desire.  But as you grow older what was once a frequent curse, will become an occasional blessing.  Trust me.

Romantic Kid; great stuff.  By that I mean your poem.

Minerva; congratulations on a well-deserved win. On this below zero Minnesota da I'll be thinking of warm Kentucky nights.

Finally, there’s Toni Scales (sigh)!  Well we all know your poetry is great, so no compliments needed.  But I do have a question.  For the sake of the fantasies of all DU males, please tell us, is that beautiful stocking thigh a selfie?
