Halloween Hootnanny

My favorite part of the year is around the corner and I invite you all to my party. I'm throwing a bash here on DU and want to see how horror-themed creative you can be. We're gonna rock out in an old gothic style castle with heavy metal bands playing all month long, I will even extend this comp by one week to get closer to Samhain. There rules are as follows:

this is halloween, so im dressed like a hippy
this is a halloween hootinany
so lets hurry up and get busy,
watch us as we do it up sick, see?
head hangin low duckin po'po'
rhymin like E A Poe just lookin like a fuckin psycho
its my night so you cant stop me,
devils sure cocky,
as a hobby where a mask for hockey
like an even more stocky jason, sort of like norman bates and really more like a jack the ripper freemason chopping at these teens so shocking
got these bodies danglin from the ceilings,
each and every trick or treater knows us killers have no feelings,
razor in the apple core, come on over here son come inside the door and step on off the porch, your letting out the heat.
evil in the candy mans eyes, so full of deceit,
trick or treat fool your never seen again,
just remember what they always say halloweens all pretend

costumes come staggering look there went babe rooth and a scary ass granny

witches are cackling drink up the potions so much that you cant see
pitch black here a boo! and you scream

i am up on the stage, hadesrisings partys up in a rage,
zombies up out the graves, murderers out of there cage,
first they butcher the beauty and then they slaughter the age, still the djs unfazed,
me, the pumpkin king, yoda, the black knight and hades, we sit and get blazed
if any hos still alive after last nights halloween hootinany... shit happy all hallows day!

I come,
dressed in garb of priestesses of old
who chanted in groves beneath the moon
with ancient powers of nature born
from each souls reposing in husks
of one mortal flesh to the other

I come,
with wisdom known in whispers
hushed from God of the trinity
ancient more beyond your time
the billows of silk between my ankles
knowing screams of ancient blood

I come,
to the halls of your revelry
to Hallow's Eve toasted to
know you what you have evoked
to grin at death with fear within
for skullman knows no winter

I come,
remembering the culling of weaker beasts
weak to face the death days of winter
blood shrieking in the fields
man with no mercy just weld their knives
and I watching silent but pleased

I come,
to remember the lighted candles
a call to the wandering souls
to come in a while near the hearth
to feel a semblance of warmth
among the beloved living

I come,
dressed as a member of the rings
of ancient dances in secluded sites
our moon wan above our heads
no more sought for soothsaying
semblance of a past unrepeated

I come,
to your revellry.

Who opened the giant creaking doors.  Letting in
the cold mist and howling winds upon those darkened
icy floors.  Was he the embodiment of the mire wraith
perhaps a soul that truly wasn't safe.

For his face had a strange otherworldly glow.
Like melted marshmallows on a flaming skewer
brightly orange and aglow.  Maybe stabbed upon
the head of an unruly hound of hell.  As he
yelps and cries away losing the darkness of his
wicked spells.

Each step he took toward the crowded halls of
folks.  For that epic gathering and Metal Holiday
for all Ghouls and Ghosts!  The eyes met him and
without fear or reason.  They applauded that he
came into this great party.  For this gesture
seemingly pleased him.

At HadesRising Halloween Hootenanny Party dressed up as a Scientist burn victim. I'm wearing a white doctors coat; big thick black rubber science gloves and the creases in my face are blackened with smoke while my frazzled hair is smoldering! I'm out back watching a pig roast and a few of the local boys including HadesRising were carving up a fine piece of meat off the back hind quarter of this magnificent beast I stand before. Out of my left eye I spotted Switchblade creeping up the back porch heading towards a table were the best book of poems Dup has to offer was resting on. SugarSkull beat Switchblade to the punch and went for it but not before Penknife who thought quick and drew her dagger and grabbed the big book and started to run! Zazzles well, she cast a spell on the whole party immobilizing everyone at once! She laughed then snatched the Book up for herself! Snugglebuck could be seen stuck in mid-motion trying to get a glimpse of the commotion and goings on. The look on Madame Lavenders face when she walked up to Zazzles and said well done was priceless! Madame, waved her wand and Mikimoondancer appeared and we three had a good laugh. The book was safe, we set everyone free and we all ate pig meat and got shit faced!
