LET’S TAKE A HORSE RIDE DOWN MEMORY LANE

http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs70/i/2014/205/5/5/horseback_riding_by_engrvv-d7s2pt2.jpg

Come with me and let's take a long walk
Along the shores of Tigwi as we often talk
Hand in hand we slowly take our steps
As our bare feet kiss the cold morning waves

We can only imagine how we used to laugh
On that same beach where we swam and played
Over five hundred full moons had passed,
Yet to me... seems like it wasn't in the past

Now that we're back in each other's arms
Let's spend the rest of our lives together
Walking barefooted on the tiny pebbled beach
Once we get tired we'll take a horse ride

You take the brown horse, I'll be on the white one
Every stride peels the layers of time we're both alone
Our hearts sing as the horses begin to gallop - a harmony
So sweet and beautiful only the two of us could hear

If you remember, I wrote the lyrics to that song
As I play with my guitar you always sing along
Now I'm quite sure my guitar no longer weeps
For it has found its loving home for keeps

We sit holding hands on the silvery sands and watch
The crimson sun slowly hiding behind the mountain's veils
And we lay down gazing at the moon and the stars
Reciting my poems and reminiscing our forever love

This is how I envisioned our daily rituals would be
Until the sands of time stop and close its portals
Then I'll ask the moon to recite my poems for you
While the stars reveal to the world our love - eternal...

So

We went on the date
After that dance
Held hands
Made out
I said I loved her
In retrospect I
May have
Been a bit precipitate
But it was my first
Girlfriend
That's how good I am at fucking
Things up
Awkward high school twitchy fucker

A Teen's Pride

That time I was fourteen ,
just experienced my teen ,
a new-comer for adaptation ,
the changes that brings a teen's frustration.

Under my school skirt ,
some uncomfortable napkin was prescribed ,
with my mother's advise ,
to hold it with a proper tight.

But a teen was a teen ,
with no care of screen ,
I ran towards my classroom ,
without noticed any washroom.

Suddenly my class teacher shouted ,
whose napkin was lying there with pride ,
and then I realized ,
that something was missing from inside.

I ran towards the gallery ,
to have a pick ,
but my classmate ,
quickly gave it a kick.

I was ashamed ,
and got afraid ,
but now when ever I was on my monthly side ,
i innocently laugh to remember my school memory pride.

The go-cart
we built from old skates,
peach boxes, skate boards
and hope

careens down Massachusetts hills,
round curves and rotaries
still
like memories
pinging round and round,
crashing and tearing,
wheeeee..... goes Nate, still

in the back, his weight an anchor,
his laughter manic,
his memory a scar
