BENEVOLENT SOUL
He is living in a country so full of beauty
Not a surprise if he worships it like a deity
Having seen places growing up as a military brat
Discipline instilled, unlike some boys in the frat
Has respect for others whether smaller or bigger
But bullies beware, he’ll come prowling like a tiger
This nature lover wordsmith has a benevolent soul
No matter was left in you, he will make you whole
He could paint with his words with vivid imagery
Waxing them in style without so much pageantry
Immerse yourself in his words, you will find solace
Temporarily forgetting—the world is not at peace
His way with cryptic words could get you lost in a maze
With his “Misty Morning,” he never ceases to amaze
Whether you think his thoughts are strong or weak
He is not afraid to show his freedom to speak
Get out of the rut, I dare you Soul—free your mind
You may not know it yet, but you’re one of a kind!
(Just glad to join the party, a few hours before the deadline)
