It was during his recurring dream of rolling off the edge of the bed that he awoke to find it wasn't a dream: red sky above starting to pour....
in the wake of a nuclear morning that would last all day and through the night, taking out all communications, leaving him without the sensation of contact or boarders, and this was before the first shock wave hit ground zero...

but how many times had he been through this; and right on que the vortex in the closet sucked the door and him off his hinges....
It jarred him every time he made the jump... never sure if it was his own nightmares, another mission to correct the damage of another mind... or the computer running him through yet another scenario... but it doesn't matter... this is where he was...

....the 5th dimension.....and if that was Bill standing, facing him, this was going to take some fancy evasive maneuvers!
He shrugs around twisted trying to awake or at least leap back down to the third dimension, yet with every imaginable shrug he slides further and further throught the fifths dimensions port hole tell he realizes he must somehow be hitting an warp switch with every shrug ..
