Cherry Blossoms

confetti of petals
rain upon them
bonded with gold
dreaming together

Cherry blossoms
white and pink
blooms of spring
a new beginning

the lovers kiss
under showers
of falling petals
blown by the wind.

Sanity

whispers in his head
saying kill them
before they kill you
but he gets drunk instead

gripping his sanity
among insane urging
to molest, rape, murder
he drink himself to sleep

in the office he hold
on to his sanity
by thinking of his secretary
raping and strangling her

he usually smile at her
saying good morning
how do you do
as bland as rice porridge.

MURDER IN THE FIRST DEGREE

Death contemplating for a kill
Harsh and sudden, slow or merciful
Pre-meditating for the outcome
Until execution day has come
Death came and was gone
From the bullet of a gun

The killer was caught and tried
Because nowhere he can hide
The jury's verdict came in
Faster than a bullet train
Murder in the first degree
Everyone, but one could disagree

Living on Edge

it was perfect
no one saw him
how he buried her
under the big tree

he had love her, true
but her demands were
getting just too much
he snapped and that was the end

she wanted to buy a bracelet
costing twice his month pay
it was to show off to a girl
married to her once fiancee

so he gave her some wine
made her drunk and then shot her
bundled her and hid her
under the ground under the tree

he walked away
sold his home
forgot his name
he just kept on moving...

POETIC JUSTICE

There are so many forms of poetry
Confused poet does not know
How and where to begin
To dissect his unwary thoughts
Does he open his mind to the world
Or keep the metaphors to himself?

Beautiful words of love and wisdom
Using the best adjectives
In their superlative forms
Does anyone think that will give
Poetic justice to the injustices
In this perfect chaotic world?

Hard to judge one’s thoughts,
Motivations and inspirations
The beauty of the poem
Lies within the poem itself
We may have different interpretations
Let the readers be the judge!

On the other hand it’s a given
When poets pour their hearts out
Raging fires melt us from within
As we can relate from their sins
Who among us is not a sinner
Surely should be the winner.

Perfect Imperfections

flawless beauty
seen by him, her beloved
Skin of satin
lips rose tinted

Willowy beauty
Perfection glides
in her walk
pose of Venus unclad

beauty, unaware of glances
and stares or faces
saunters casually through life
Oblivious to her own beauty.

DAILY  BREAD

If I have only two loaves of bread
I will definitely share one with you
But it appears I only have one
I will break it even
So we may see heaven
In the parting of the skies
Where true love perfectly lies
Eastern skies you admire
Western skies I desire
Afar off the sea of loneliness
Together we look up the vastness
Of the daily bread of our eyes

Inspiration: The sky is the daily bread of the eyes.
By Ralph Waldo Emerson

Tribute to mothers

Like a sinuous snake
in her tummy
hunger drilled slowly
painfully through
her guts

smiling she clutched
a bag of pears
discarded by the market
chanced upon it
on her way home

cleaning the toilets
at the budget hotel
gave her glimpses
of opulence
urging wistful sighs

No matter she thought
her children would eat
well tonight
and her stomach rumbled.

"I Give Up"

I relinquish with a sigh
My do-gooder complex won't help me now
The world's gone to shit, oh wait its always been that
I want to help but don't know how

Thinking all night has driven me mad
Sleeplessness made me ill
Its an endless cycle I'll hear again and again
Like a toddler with Jack and Jill

Stuffed Animals

When I was small and still a child
Mom took lots of pics of me
Always holding tight to my menagery

I had lions & tigers & bears
Oh my!

When I left home, all of 24 years old
never stayed alone but now on my own
flew on a jet plane life took the fast lane
now this comp reminds me the song I loved then
I'm leaving on a jet plane
don't know when I'll be back again..
little did I know...
