funghi or fungi..am taking it as fungi

harshheads, aspergilli

midnight's charcoal clouds
dispersed like black magic
from the hiddens: hardstuck pillow
fungi’s scheming spores
in a musical
whistling~wrestling blows
over her silence of the sleeps, each
unseen granule flagellated airs
choking happiness moles: microbial
psychopaths

Walking down a cobble street
The smell of mulch from
nearby gardens fills the air
It was a deep black night
My reflection was naught
Yet something bright caught my eye
I stopped, letting my eyes focus
What I saw turned me to ice
A man...or was it?
With teeth piercing her white flesh
I believe he was about to
exsanguinate the poor lass

or take a gnat, p'raps
from it's natural habitat
then pull it asunder
wings, limbs
and hairy antenna
cupola minutes well spent
for an eco hooligan
on the rampage

Such a sunny day
Called for the perfect gift
I took my honey for a stroll
Arm in arm along the promenade
So he could choose the strumpet of his choice
And squish her with merry delight

This was the conversation I overheard the other evening
between two skeletons.

The first one said "My bones were squeaky
and calcified"     ..Then the other says :
"Mine too",   Then first the skeleton said
"I think it is time for my '(osteopathy)' ,
The other says " I concur, indeed I do"
Then the first skeleton arose from his seat
and said "I want to find me a lover for the
night, but I feel so damned & (incarcerated')
The other says in a ('roaring ')like tone almost
in a feral manner "Me too!"

In her lair contemplating lygophilia
While experiencing the love of sarcophilous
Her mind wandered over the choices for her next victim
Would it be the sweet child she taught
Or the errand boy who wore his love for her on his sleeve
It was funny how she thought
The medulla of the child would be sweeter
But then again a baby would be even better...

not one for mindless violence
though I've found myself
flirting with the idea
or ramming my fist down her throat
and ripping her intestines
out her mouth

no matter,
it's all about mastering
a level of restraint

Through a chink in his emotional armour
She was able to inoculate him with doubt
Nubby words found their way into his vocabulary
Like maybe, should we, can we, you make me...

such an abundance of wisdom
written down and shared
by a divine messenger

book upon book, tongue unto tongue
hand 'gainst heart
why then, pray tell, do the young
still suffer
genital mutilation

the snowfall had come early
his kids were on their toboggan
whooping it up as they went down the hill
this man, the well known philanthropist
had taught them to enjoy the simple things in life
and to reinforce this, he quartered his children
with a farmer once a year to remind them

On reflection

It probably doesn't pay to be too reminiscent
or get bogged down in what was
mostly because those kind of thoughts
will sink right through

head to heart, heart to knees, knees to feet
turn toes rigid and heels to jelly
making movement restricted

or worse of course

...just a theory, nothing scientific
and I guess
there must be some merit
in periodic reflection
or introspection

it's just, there's always the danger
of self entrapment
or self pity
or self destruction

or some other undesirable trait
triggered without thought nor sense
of the now

a patent, a process

despite the stringent self-imposed bans
on a variety of ways your thoughts brew

‘a’ recent innovation
of your clever cumbersome design
you collide a delectable series
of your dream-roasted crisp granulate
over my wall: steel reinforced
sterility filters
that
stands just an onlooker~passage
overlooking your fine dissolution
in my sudden sweep to steamy
porosities

of an unworthy
crumbled down
resolution

in a sycamore network
taking over this host
right from the roots

I was gonna write an emo poem
but couldn't get past the first stanza:

broken

like a sprinter with a limp
or a boxer
who'd lost an arm and a leg
cos he wouldn't dive
in the ninth

or dead on the inside

like the guy who counts the pollen
every summer's morning
so the weather girl can look smart
when she tells the people
where to go for a sneeze-fest

or finite

like a molten sea of retribution
spewed from Vesuvius
cooled down
to an igneous sarcophagus

but then I thought
fuck it
I'll throw the three together
and add in a few scars

or a blade

her life was a trail littered with debris
most of it she'd been subordinate to others
but then an unlikely catalyst helped her
to break free, move forward
from that day she's never looked back
much to the disgust of others

Father Mack couldn't speak latin
so he didn't understand the connotations
when the other priests
took to calling him Inom inom padre

suffice to say
word had drifted to their priory
of the goings on
in the back seat of his trabi

[though, to be fair
they'd labeled it an act
of divine romanticism ]
