Slow Decay

Torn into slow decay
I’m left to shrivel away
Into the ruin
Into myself
Poison unto the souls of others
Ripping love from warm beating hearts
Pounding out life on the sacrificial stone
Beaten with the club of sacrificial bone
Sanity’s presence is still unknown
As into the festering flames of hateful fire I am thrown
And left to my own devices to devour my own dredging dissatisfaction
So fleeting glimpses of former fuck-ups no longer cloud my vision
And the entirety of my entity can meet its divine destiny
With the wretched dreaded...

No not the one at your window
Not the one at the feeder
He’s red, but not of feathers
For he’s fettered
He roams the city in elegance
Wary of his past
He wonders how it came to this

Am I defective he wonders under
His breath
My life has been devoted
To blind faith
Have crammed my head with psalms and verses
Stories of fire trees and parting seas
I’ve a duty to interpret and to guide
To help others with the devil at their side

there would be no love lost,nor shed a tear
screaming out at the end of south central pier
like solitary confinement no one could hear
all alone no one was near
you slump to your knees stiring down at the now empty bottle of beer
there's no where to hide or escape the fear
no going back to that life of arrears
you take another swig but the bottle is clear
so u place in a note and push it to the rear
if someone reads this they'd know your sincere
as u cast it out to sea like a hunter throw's a spear

Live inside my head?

Live inside a barren room with
No furniture, just the smell
Of rotting rodents

She heard the cries of her mother and only frowned,
Once again he has made her cry but that shouldn’t put her down.
He isn’t worth anything; he isn’t even a man,
He doesn’t care, he doesn’t even understand.
He treats her as if she was a dog,
All locked up…. doesn’t he realize she’s fragile?... she’s like a glass doll…
It’s like he throws her around again and again,
Not caring if her life would one day come to an end.
A beautiful diamond thrown away….

the tenderness I’d missed became a noose to hang my head.
I sent my only treasures to your grave for you to own,
one day I know I’ll see again your face though you are dead.

My flowers in your lifeless hands, my teardrops in your hair,
I’d give my all, my life, my soul, to kiss you one more time.
It hardly seems it’s possible, I know it isn’t fair,

an uncomfortable leather couch
it was a hot day
and it made it worse
im pouring my heart
out
like a spill over the earth
im hearing him say,
mmhmm mmhmm....
shit like that,
he even called my by someone
else's name
fucking rude!
in the end he tells me
"you'll be fine"
i make my way out the door
and go to my car,
as i turned the key, i left my
radio on, as soon as i heard
